A Case for Morphology & Word Study

It helps teachers avoid frustration, just as it helps students understand that the language actually makes sense.  You just have to have the correct keys to unlock its secrets.  This session will explore the science of reading as it pertains to morphology, the three layers of the English language, a suggested general scope and sequence, as well as instructional implications and practices.

Presenter: Amanda Nickerson
